The International School offers excellent world-class education with UK Curriculum using student-centred teaching approaches while training the students with 21st Century Skills which encourages the students with motivating environment who want to access the world of high academic achievements through critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and innovation skills from the project-oriented lessons. Our rich programme of extracurricular provision provides opportunity for students to develop and flourish in sports, arts, music and academia, where they can develop key life skills including confidence, teamwork and leadership.
The school is an approved center of Pearson Edexcel, UK. We, SDEC introduced and trained all students to be academically well qualified through Cambridge Curriculum. In the near future the school is going to introduce Cambridge Assessment Examinations for the students to achieve world-class education standard. In Upper Secondary, students of IGCSE and A levels are allowed to make a choice for examination between EDEXCEL and Cambridge International Examination (CIE). Both examinations are highly respected and have equal value in regards to further studies or employment. Nevertheless, students must also become civilized students to appreciate Myanmar tradition, history and culture. Students must also understand the sense of global mindedness, diversity and environmental awareness and to become self-disciplined, responsibility awareness and respect to others, locally and internationally.
