Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) (Nursery and Reception)

Young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at SDEC exude a sense of amazement and curiosity as they start their educational adventure. Adopting a child-centered approach and employing fun play methods, these children actively participate in shaping their own learning and growth. SDEC enables every student to be well developed for adulthood forming the underpinnings for lifetime values and principles to become independent and modest. Students are trained to be open-minded and compassionate, utilizing their acquired knowledge in distinctive and imaginative ways that bring positive effects to their communities. By following a demanding UK National Curriculum structure and offering chances for investigation, innovation, and exploration, all students are equipped with 21st century skills for the dynamic challenges of our evolving world. SDEC strives to train the students to be well-rounded individuals with good social communications and interpersonal skills through a variety of extracurricular experiences.

Secondary

Secondary students at SDEC wholeheartedly engage in school life, actively participating in lively and captivating lessons that cultivate a genuine eagerness for learning. Additionally, students are required to actively engage in extracurricular activities as an integral part of a comprehensive education aimed at shaping well-rounded individuals. The Student Council encourages students in teamwork through various school based tasks and projects throughout the year, growing mutual support not only during special events but also in day-to-day interactions across different year groups. While actualizing their respective ambitions, the students are trained and prepared for successful entries into World’s Top-ranking Universities.

In Sixth Form level, our students display a strong academic curiosity, driven by a desire to delve deeper into subjects that interest them in A levels.
